Job summary

Prisma Health Baptist Hospital seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide clinical direction in an acute inpatient setting, promoting patient/family centered care and evidence-based practice across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

The role emphasizes safety, quality improvement, care coordination, and adherence to licensure and organizational policies; weekend/holiday/on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience - One year as a registered nurse.
• Licensure to practice as an RN in the state.
• In lieu of experience, Prisma Health Nurse Residency or a comparable residency.
• In lieu of Associate degree, nursing diploma with licensure may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within the established nursing plan.
• Develops and updates the plan of care with patient/family and team.
• Monitors patient condition and communicates changes to the team.
• Ensures safety, quality, and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Documents thoroughly to support care outcomes and audits.

Education
