Job summary

Concord Hospital in New Hampshire is seeking an RN II for an inpatient specialty unit. The RN II will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a defined patient population, delivering safe, therapeutic care in collaboration with the care team.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred), hold NH RN license, and BLS. One year of clinical nursing experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse with New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association.
• One year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Gathers data through history taking and physical assessment and interprets data to plan and implement interventions.
• Develops, evaluates and revises patient care plans based on needs.
• Documents care provided and patient progress toward outcomes.
• Directs and supervises others in delegated nursing activities.
• Educates patients and families about the plan of care and post-discharge care.
