Job summary

Concord Hospital in New Hampshire seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) 2 to work in a designated inpatient specialty area. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a population-specific group within a safe and therapeutic environment.

The role requires applying growth and development principles across the life span, collaboration with the care team, and adherence to department and organizational standards. BSN preferred with NH RN licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse - New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Bases nursing actions by applying principles of purposeful, organized thinking to make clinical judgments/decisions.
• Gathers data through history taking and physical assessment and interprets data to plan and implement interventions.
• Develops, evaluates and revises patient plans of care and nursing actions.
• Documents care provided and patient progress toward outcomes.
• Directs and supervises others in delegated nursing activities.
• Teaches patients and significant others about the plan of care and prepares them for discharge, transfer or procedures.
• Manages time and resources to deliver patient care.
• Administers medications to patients.
