Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in an inpatient specialty area. The RN 2 will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required, with BSN preferred. Active NH nursing license and BLS certification are essential, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in New Hampshire.
• BSN preferred to start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Applies clinical judgement to plan and implement nursing actions.
• Collects history and performs physical assessments to guide care.
• Develops and updates patient care plans; documents progress.
• Directs and supervises care by others when needed.
• Educates patients and families about the plan of care.
• Prepares patients for discharge or procedures.
• Manages time and resources to deliver care.
• Administers prescribed medications.
