Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner for our inpatient team. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice respiratory care in the state where the hospital resides and have hospital experience or a commitment to learn.

We require current BLS and ACLS certifications; blood gas licensure is required if employed in Nevada. A high school diploma is required, with an associate degree preferred, and at least one year of clinical respiratory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
• Maintains all respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
