Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Orange City is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to care for our diverse patient population in an inpatient setting. The RCP will perform routine therapy, diagnostics and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures as part of the hospital team.

Candidate must be certified or licensed in the state, hold current BLS and ACLS, and have a high school diploma (associate degree preferred). One year of clinical respiratory experience is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
• Maintains all respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested.
