Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Overland Park is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient team. The role covers routine therapy, diagnostics and cardiopulmonary emergencies for a diverse patient population in our hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will hold state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and preferably an associate degree.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada; high school diploma or equivalent, preferably an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine respiratory therapy, diagnostic and emergency procedures.
• Maintain and operate respiratory care equipment.
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
