Job summary

PAM Health in Oklahoma City is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient care team. The ideal candidate has prior hospital experience or a willingness to learn and grow in a high-acuity setting.

The RCP will perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, maintain equipment, and provide phlebotomy and basic lab testing as required. Certification/licensure in the state is required, with BLS and ACLS; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification or license to practice respiratory care in the state
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Arterial blood gas licensure if employed where applicable
• High school diploma or associate degree preferred for arterial puncture and blood gases

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures
• Maintains all equipment in working order
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required
