Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital Sussex Campus is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to care for a diverse patient population in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong desire to learn.

Responsibilities include routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, and maintaining all equipment. Phlebotomy and basic lab testing may also be required.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma required, associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
• Maintain all respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
