Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Reno is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our inpatient team. The RCP will perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures and maintain equipment in good working order.

Phlebotomy and basic lab testing are performed as needed. Candidates must be certified or licensed in the state, hold current BLS and ACLS, and have a minimum of one year of clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in Nevada.
• High school diploma required, preferably an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Maintains all equipment in working order and performs related duties.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
