Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our team and care for a diverse patient population in our hospital settings. The ideal candidate may have inpatient experience or a strong desire to learn, with a commitment to high-quality care.

Licensed in the state where the hospital resides, current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Nevada blood gas licensure is needed if arterial punctures or blood gas testing are performed.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
