Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Denver is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to deliver routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary care for our inpatient population. You will maintain all equipment and contribute to patient outcomes in a high-acuity setting.

The role requires state licensure to practice respiratory care, current BLS and ACLS certification, and preferably at least one year of clinical experience; blood gas licensure may apply in Nevada.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification are required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum one year clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
• Maintains all equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
