Job Summary and Qualifications

The Speech Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered care by developing and conducting individualized therapy programs for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments of speech-language abilities and administering tests.
• Implementing individualized communication improvement programs.
• Evaluating and adjusting treatment plans regularly.
• Documenting progress, notes, charges, and communication.
• Collaborating with the Program Director and physicians regarding patient assessments and placements.

Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Speech Pathologist license in South Carolina.
• Master's Degree in relevant field.
