Job summary

HCA Florida JFK Hospital in Atlantis, FL seeks a Registered Nurse to serve as PPS Coordinator for Inpatient Rehab. You will provide clinical support to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and accurately complete IRF assessments and scoring to reflect patient needs.

The role requires an active Florida RN license (or compact licensure), current BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 1 year of acute care RN experience with 2 years in rehab. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or Compact Licensure (subject to Florida requirements).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• A minimum of one year acute care hospital RN experience.
• A minimum of two years of rehab patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Promotes high quality, patient-centered care by providing clinical support.
• Promptly and accurately completes the IRF Patient Assessments Instrument.
• Ensures accuracy in scoring of functional status and reflection of patient care needs.
• Monitors identified benchmarks for the Inpatient Rehab population.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintains knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in caring for Inpatient Rehab patients.
