Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an inpatient Registered Nurse for a full-time evening/night/weekend shift at our Richmond, VA location. The role offers a $40.15 per hour minimum hiring rate, with increased rates for experienced nurses and up to $7 per hour in shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates. The RN will provide direct patient care, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to patient safety and quality

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)
• RN license and eligibility to practice in Virginia may be required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policy and procedure
• Promote teamwork by delegating tasks to team members and coordinating with physicians and other staff
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients across the unit
• Participate in unit-based quality and safety initiatives and evidence-based practice
