Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a full-time Inpatient Registered Nurse. Eligible candidates can receive a hiring incentive up to $26,000. Starting pay is $40.55 per hour with increases for experienced nurses and up to $7 per hour for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Relocation assistance is available. Responsibilities include delivering nursing care, performing assessments, planning and coordinating patient care with the multidisciplinary team, and ensuring patient safety and quality.

Qualifications

• RN with specialty nursing training and licensure.
• Direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborates with the health care team to plan and implement care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care including treatments and medications.
• Complete assessments according to unit standards.
• Develop and implement plan of care with patient and family.
• Coordinate discharge planning with inter-disciplinary team.
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff to meet patient needs.
• Promote patient safety and quality improvement.
