Job summary

The Oregon Health Authority's Oregon State Hospital in Salem is seeking a Psychiatric Social Worker SR33 to provide clinical interventions and biopsychosocial assessments in an in-patient setting, supporting recovery and discharge planning. • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.
• Current Oregon LCSW license, or CSWA license, or provide verification of application submission by date of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing strength-based assessments from a trauma-informed lens, including psychosocial assessments and updates.
• Prepare written social work reports to Risk Review, PSRB, and partner agencies.
• Provide weekly to monthly compassionate services to patients and update treatment care plan as indicated.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team to assess hospital level of care and readiness for discharge.
