Job summary

Ocean View Psychiatric Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for our Long Beach inpatient unit. The role involves direct and indirect patient care within a fast-paced, team-based environment on a 3-day, 12-hour rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, medication administration, care coordination, and adherence to regulatory standards. LPS training and NPI requirements apply; evening/night and weekend shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an ADN or BSN.
• Active CA RN license.
• 2 years in behavioral health or related setting preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and administer medications.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and support inpatient care plans.
• Document patient status accurately in EHR and ensure timely updates.
• Respond to medical or psychiatric emergencies and perform CPR when needed.
• Complete LPS training and maintain NPI as required.
