Job summary

Qualifications

• Arizona nursing license or compact privileges required.
• New grads welcome to apply.
• One year of psychiatric inpatient experience preferred.
• One year of med/surge experience preferred for geriatric unit.
• Handle With Care and BLS for Providers required.
• Level 1 AZ fingerprint clearance card or able to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient information and nursing care; document and reassess changes.
• Maintain milieu: orient patients, monitor activity, and provide structured care.
• Intervene using psychiatric and medical nursing procedures; administer meds and follow physician orders.
