Job summary

El Paso Behavioral Health System is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the health team, following the nursing process and Texas Board standards. Applicants must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold a current Texas RN license. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Medication administration requires passing an exam; CPR certification is required at hire. Orientation includes Handle With Care for de-escalation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Current license to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaboration with health team members.
• Adhere to nursing standards of care and the Texas Board of Nursing guidelines.
• May administer medications after certification and orientation.
