Job summary

El Paso Behavioral Health System, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the health team. The role follows the nursing process and Texas Board of Nursing standards to ensure quality patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has an RN license in Texas, a nursing degree, and CPR certification on hire. Experience is preferred, and personnel must pass a medication administration exam and complete Handle With Care

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
• Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
• Must have current CPR certification upon hire.
• Handle With Care training including physical hold and verbal de‑escalation during orientation.
• One (1) nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with the health team.
• Adhere to nursing process and standards of care per Texas Board of Nursing.
• Provide safe and effective patient care and stroke‑level monitoring as assigned.
