Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a casual Occupational Therapist II to join the Inpatient Psychiatry team. The role requires collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to provide evaluation, treatment, discharge planning, and education.

Responsibilities include conducting OT evaluations, developing care plans, documenting progress, and educating patients and caregivers on techniques and treatments. Operates within department standards and serves as a resource for staff and students.

Qualifications

• Requires ACOTE‑accredited OT program completion.
• Minimum 2 fulltime years of OT experience (4,160 hours).
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive OT evaluations.
• Develop and document patient care plans for function and safety.
• Observe, evaluate and document patient progress and participate in rounds.
