Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist II Casual to join our Day Treatment team. This casual role works as needed during the days to support staffing needs, providing evaluation, treatment, discharge planning and education in collaboration with an inter-disciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include performing comprehensive evaluations, developing care plans to promote function and safety, and educating patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ACOTE accredited OT program.
• Minimum of 2 full-time years of experience (4,160 hours).
• NBCOT certification eligibility required or pending exam within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive OT evaluations.
• Develop and document patient care plans for function and safety.
• Observe, evaluate and document patient progress.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques.
