Texas Health and Human Services is seeking a Psychiatric Nursing Assistant III for the El Paso Psychiatric Center. Responsibilities

• Attends work on a regular basis and may be asked to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule.
• Provides patient care under RN supervision to support quality psychiatric nursing in an inpatient setting.
• Maintains patient safety and documents patient conditions in an electronic record.
• Assists with activities of daily living to promote independence and self-care.
• Participates in recovery team meetings and shift reports.
• Supports nursing staff in monitoring medications and vital signs.
• Promotes safety and participates in disaster response and COOP activation as assigned.
