Qualifications

• Current RN license in Alabama is required.
• Licensure as LICSW/LMSW/LPC is a plus.
• Experience in intake or psychiatric settings preferred.
• Ability to establish rapport quickly by phone or in person.
• Must be computer literate with strong clerical skills.
• Experience with insurance benefits verification and admission is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admission process including Intake assessments.
• Review labs to ensure medical appropriateness for admissions.
• Coordinate disposition with Physician and Unit Charge Nurse.
• Communicate with financial counselors about financial issues.
• Assist with nursing assessment review.
