Admissions/Intake
The Psychiatic Assessment Nurse is a Registered Nurse who provides nursing care to patients utilizing the admission process. The Assessment Nurse is primarily responsible for reviewing labs to ensure medical appropriateness for potential admissions. The RNAC disposition with the Physician and Unit Charge Nurse. The RNAC is also responsible for completing the admission process including Intake assessments, communicating with financial counselors regarding financial issues, and assisting with the nursing assessment review.
