Atrium Health’s Department of Surgery in Charlotte is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery service. This full-time inpatient role supports head/neck and breast reconstruction, with outpatient APP clinic 2–3 times weekly and some OR opportunity.

The team includes 9 surgeons, 7 APPs and 11 staff. Licensure requirements include NC DEA eligibility, NP or PA certification, and BLS; the role emphasizes critical thinking, prioritization and proactive

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for a DEA license and prescriptive authority in NC.
• Nurse Practitioner – Master’s Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice; RN license; national cert.
• Physician Assistant – Master’s Degree; NCCPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient management with variable patient load.
• Outpatient APP clinic 2–3 times weekly.
• Minor bedside surgical procedures with potential OR exposure.
• Collaborate with surgeons focusing on head/neck, craniofacial, reconstructions and breast reconstruction.
