Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient float role, with NICU and adult experience strongly preferred. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited university approved by the APTA.
• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited university approved by the APTA (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy license in good standing or PT compact license on hire.

Responsibilities

• Implements an individualized treatment plan using evidence-based therapy techniques and modalities.
• Evaluates patients and establishes measurable, attainable goals and discharge plans.
• Maintains accurate documentation in medical records and completes billing as required.
• Coordinates with interdisciplinary team to discuss patient status and discharge needs; participates in rounds.
• Supervises therapists assistants and delegates tasks; mentors staff and supports process improvements.
• Participates in staff meetings, utilization review, and preceptor/mentoring programs.
