Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• One year of phlebotomy experience or completion of an accredited training program.
• ASCP phlebotomy certification desired.
• AHA BLS provider CPR required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and associates in a courteous, professional manner.
• Perform venipuncture and dermal puncture for specimen collection.
• Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and patient prep materials.
• Label and accession specimens accurately according to policy.
• Enter test orders and patient data into the laboratory system.
• Provide reports to physicians and nursing units as requested.
