Trinity Health is hiring a Phlebotomist for Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT. The role supports the inpatient lab team with blood collection, specimen processing, and patient information transfer to caregivers.

You will perform venipuncture, label specimens, and handle orders while contributing to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Day shift, full-time with generous benefits and shift differentials are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or completed phlebotomy training.
• Certification: National Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• Experience: prior phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture using standard/butterfly techniques and properly identify patients.
• Label all specimens following laboratory policy.
• Receive/cancel orders and process laboratory/microbiology specimens.
