Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, CO, seeks an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations in a growing inpatient program. You will assist pharmacists, prepare prescriptions, and coordinate medication access while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification/licensure for state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regs and controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with clinical info collection and recordkeeping.
• Prepare medication orders, perform calculations, and assist with compounding.
• Obtain supervision and accuracy checks from pharmacists when needed.
• Maintain medication supplies and monitor controlled sub inventories.
• Communicate with caregivers and participate in safety initiatives.
