Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations in our Grand Junction, Colorado hospital. You will prepare prescriptions, coordinate medication access, and collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe drug therapy during patient stays.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate compounding, and use of automated systems like Omnicell. New grads are welcome to apply and training is provided onsite.

Qualifications

• Top candidates have inpatient pharmacy experience, IV compounding skills, and familiarity with Omnicell.
• New grads are welcome to apply.
• High School or equivalent is required; active certification/licensure as a pharmacy technician may be required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in collecting clinical and other patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepares medication orders for dispensing and compounds medications as needed.
• Maintains accurate controlled substance inventories and supports 340B/charging management.
