Job summary

Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, the incumbent performs nonsterile compounding and delivers medications while loading automated dispensing machines (ADMs). Responsibilities include packaging, record keeping, and drug distribution, with attention to regulatory compliance and inventory management.

This role supports pharmacy operations, triages calls, and helps train new technicians. A Massachusetts pharmacy license and PTCB/ExCPT certification are required for a non-exempt, 40-hour

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy license.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
• Proficiency in math and computer use.

Responsibilities

• Compounds medications and loads into automated dispensing machines.
• Prepares and packages medications and records documentation.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and quality standards.
• Assists in inventory management and order receiving.
• Contributes to process improvements in pharmacy operations.
