Responsibilities

• Complies with state and federal standards for compounding medications.
• Proficient with pharmacy technology and equipment; troubleshoot and escalate as needed.
• Prepares and packages medications; repackages bulk meds into unit-of-use containers.
• Maintains documentation per regulatory and hospital requirements.
• Conducts medication room inspections and manages inventory.
• Assembles drugs using the department inventory system and triages pharmacy calls.
• Supports training of new technicians.
• Maintains a clean work area and handles daily orders in the hospital system.
