The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice—Inpatient on the Main Campus. The 16-week accelerated program combines hands-on training in inpatient and outpatient settings, culminating in a Pharmacy Technology diploma and eligibility for the national certification exam.

Work hours are 6:30am-3:30pm during a Day/Evening rotation with a flat rate of $17/hour, providing a pathway to a rewarding career within a world-class health system.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of the Cleveland Clinic School of Pharmacy Technology program within 12 months of hire.
• Registration as Pharmacy Technician Trainee with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy; CPhT certification within 12 months.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare medications (selection, labeling, repackaging, sterile and non-sterile compounding).
• Deliver medications to appropriate storage locations.
• Maintain accurate and appropriate inventories of medications and supplies.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Document regulatory requirements such as temperature logs, scheduled activities, and training in an accurate and timely manner.
• Attend and actively participate in team huddles and meetings.
• Use information systems, technology and automation to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain good standing in the Cleveland Clinic School of Pharmacy Technology Program per the student handbook.
