Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice – Inpatient. Under pharmacist supervision, you will learn packaging, preparing and distributing medications, inventory control, customer service and keeping pharmacy records.

After 12 months, you will earn a diploma in Pharmacy Technology from the Cleveland Clinic School of Pharmacy Technology Program, enabling advancement within the Cleveland Clinic Health System.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Cleveland Clinic School of Pharmacy Technology program within 12 months of hire.
• Registration as Pharmacy Technician Trainee with Ohio Board of Pharmacy at hire.
• Temporary to Certified Pharmacy Technician registration within 12 months.
• Must obtain PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician within 12 months.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare medications including labeling, repackaging and non-sterile compounding.
• Deliver medications to appropriate storage locations.
• Maintain inventories of medications and supplies.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow procedures.
• Document temperature logs, training and activities timely.
• Participate in team huddles and meetings.
• Use information systems and automation to complete tasks.
• Maintain status in the Cleveland Clinic School of Pharmacy Technology Program per handbook.
