Job summary

Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician for night shift. This full-time role supports pharmacists with distributive duties, inventory management, and dispensing system maintenance.

You will prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds, assist with procurement, and ensure compliance with USP standards. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Maryland Board of Pharmacy (before hire)
• Preferred: NHA Pharmacy Technician credential
• Preferred: PTCB credential
• Education: HS diploma or equivalent with 2+ yrs exp, or Associate/Technical degree or 4+ yrs exp

• Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical assistance to the pharmacist.
• Manage, refill, and maintain automated dispensing systems.
• Procure, organize, and store pharmaceutical supplies.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

Required Credential(s)

• Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Maryland Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Preferred Credential(s)

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association.
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
