Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of pharmacy technician experience required.
• Completion of an academic pharmacy technician training program preferred.
• Current enrollment in PharmD program if working as a registered pharmacy intern with NC Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert training of new employees and develops training materials.
• Identifies and executes process improvement opportunities to optimize workflow.
• Assists the pharmacist by reviewing, compounding and dispensing medications under supervision.
• Operates and supports automated dispensing technology to supply correct medications.
• Ensures regulatory compliance for medication storage and inventory control.
