Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pediatric, critical care, oncology, and inpatient pharmacy services. Under a Pharmacist's supervision, you will deliver medication-related services to in-house patients and assist with quality control in drug distribution technologies.

The role supports MetroHealth’s mission and patient-centered care. Required: HS Diploma or GED, 18+, and active or soon-to-be PTCB/ExCPT certification, or Ohio Board registration with active status.

Qualifications

• Meets one of the following: PTCB or ExCPT certification.
• Meets one of the following: Ohio Board registration or becomes certified within 90 days of hire.
• Must be able to travel to external satellite locations and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medication-related services to in-house patients and related take-home medications.
• Assist Pharmacists in quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies and services.
