Job summary

MetroHealth Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support specialty and inpatient pharmacy services. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist in delivering pharmaceutical care, support medication distribution, and provide take-home medication services within a hospital setting.

You will participate in quality control procedures, interact with diverse patients and staff, and uphold MetroHealth System standards and customer service commitments.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older with no felony convictions.
• PTCB certification or ExCPT certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must be registered with Ohio State Board of Pharmacy or become certified within 90 days; eligible for travel to satellite locations.

Responsibilities

• Assists Pharmacists in delivering pharmaceutical care in specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
• Performs quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
• Delivers take-home medications and supports medication-related services to in-house patients.
• Upholds MetroHealth System mission, vision, values and customer service standards.
