Job summary

METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER in Strongsville, OH is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pediatric, critical care, oncology, and inpatient pharmacies. Working under a Pharmacist, you will assist in delivering medication-related services to in-house patients and help with related take-home medications.

You will participate in quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies and uphold the MetroHealth System’s mission, values, and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• 18 years of age or older with no felony convictions, per Ohio Revised Code 4729.42.
• PTCB certification or ExCPT certification preferred or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Currently registered or willing to become registered with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, delivers medication-related services to in-house patients and the related take-home medication services.
• Assists Pharmacists in performing quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
