Intermountain Health St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations and help establish workflows for a growing program.

You will work with pharmacists and technicians to prepare prescriptions, coordinate medication access, and support patients throughout their hospital stay. Training is provided with 8 weeks onsite, and continuing education is available. A competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice and drug distribution.

Responsabilités

• Assists the pharmacist in collecting clinical and other patient information and maintaining records as required by regulation and policy.
• Prepares medication orders for dispensing and performs calculations for accurate compounding as appropriate to practice site.
• Attains supervision and accuracy checks by the pharmacist and understands when to verify tasks.
• Fills and maintains medication supplies including controlled substances inventories and 340B/Charging management.
• Communicates with caregivers about responsibilities and participates in quality and patient safety initiatives.
