Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPhT certification from PTCB required or enrollment in accredited PharmD candidate program.
• Pharmaceutical math skills including multiplication, ratios and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily Pharmacy operations under pharmacist direction.
• Pulls medications using technology for accurate dispensing and inventory control.
• Communicates inventory concerns to the Pharmacy Procurement Coordinator.
• Accurately completes controlled substance documentation.
• Repackages medications per local policy.
• Assists nurses/clinical staff with Pyxis questions.
• Sterile and non-sterile compounding of medications.
• Delivers medications to patient care units in a timely manner.
• Maintains organized workflow and assists in training new staff.
