TriHealth is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists across inpatient, outpatient, ER, and OR settings. The role offers a day shift schedule with 40 hours per week, a $5,000 sign-on bonus with 12-month commitment, and opportunities for professional growth within a leading healthcare system in Cincinnati, OH.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year pharmacy experience, and certification (PCTB/ExCPT) with Ohio Board of Pharmacy registration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Up to 1 year Pharmacy experience is required.
• 1-2 years Pharmacy; experience with computer applications and pharmacy automation is preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician credentials: PCTB and ExCPT required.
• Must be registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Supports pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medications by performing technical tasks per protocols and standards.
• Non-sterile compounding, weighing, counting, labeling, and delivering medications.
• Manage inventory and operate pharmacy automation; monitor expirations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, report discrepancies, and ensure proper storage and handling of medications.
• Communicate professionally with pharmacists, nurses, physicians, patients, and healthcare team members.
