Qualifications
- Recent pharmacy technician certification or graduation within past 12 months.
- Three to five years equivalent experience, minimum required.
- Current pharmacy technician registration and Ohio Board of Pharmacy certification.
Responsibilities
- Procures and distributes medication orders per prescriber/pharmacist requests.
- Fills orders, stock requisitions, and prepares IV admixtures and sterile preparations safely.
- Maintains adequate stock and organizes medication storage and documentation.
- Operates pharmacy computer system and generates reports/labels as required.
- Communicates with team and handles urgent requests promptly.
- Keeps work areas clean and compliant with policies.
