Job summary

UC Health is hiring a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician in the Inpatient Pharmacy at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The role supports pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, and patient records under supervision. A $2000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Hours are full-time (32 hours weekly) with a varied shift. Opportunities for professional development are included.

Qualifications

• Education: Recently certified, licensed or graduated within past 12 months; three to five years equivalent experience, minimum required.

Responsibilities

• Procures and distributes medication orders according to policies and protocols.
• Fills orders, prepares medication kits and carts; replenishes stock; prepares IV admixtures and sterile preparations.
• Maintains stock levels and accurate records; enters orders, charges and reports; handles calls and deliveries.
• Keeps areas clean and organized; maintains logs and documentation; supports quality improvement projects.
• Meets hospital and department standards of performance.
