Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with inpatient medication distribution, compounding, and stocking. You will help ensure timely delivery to inpatient units and support sterile and non-sterile preparation in hospital settings.

The role requires high school diploma and Massachusetts pharmacy registration or PTCB certification, with experience in sterile compounding and EMR systems preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard pharmaceutical terms and abbreviations used in prescribing/dispensing
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred
• Familiarity with regulatory handling of controlled substances and hazardous materials

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacists in safe and timely medication distribution.
• Repackage and compound medications per procedures.
• Maintain appropriate inventory and rotate stock; notify when low.
• Answer calls, triage requests, resolve questions or problems.
