Job summary

Intermountain Health's St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, is hiring an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations, prepare prescriptions, and coordinate medication access.

Top candidates will have inpatient pharmacy experience, IV compounding skills, and familiarity with Omnicell. We offer onsite training, 40-hour weeks, day/evening shifts, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

High School or equivalent is required.
Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice and drug distribution.
Lapse in requirements may result in disciplinary action at hiring manager’s discretion.

Responsibilities

Assists the pharmacist in collecting clinical and patient information and maintaining records.
Prepares medication orders, performs calculations, and compounds medications as appropriate.
Under pharmacist supervision, ensures verification of tasks and activities.
Maintains medication supplies and manages controlled substances inventory including 340B/charging.
Communicates with caregivers and participates in quality and patient safety initiatives.
