Job summary

Marvel Consultants in Seattle, WA seeks a Senior Manager, Inpatient Pharmacy Operations to lead inpatient pharmacy services during a period of growth and expansion.

This executive role partners with physicians, nursing and organizational leadership to advance patient safety, regulatory excellence, and quality outcomes while directing budget, staffing, and workflow initiatives across Medical-Surgical, ED, and upcoming Critical Care services.

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent degree.
• Current WA Pharmacist License or willingness to obtain before hire.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Five years inpatient pharmacy in acute care.
• Three years of direct leadership experience.
• Two years of budget/operational management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary hospital teams.
• Experience developing and optimizing clinical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and strategic leadership for inpatient pharmacy services.
• Lead operations across Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department with future Critical Care expansion.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, lab, and executives to improve care and performance.
• Develop, implement, and standardize clinical workflows and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, accreditation, and organizational standards.
• Drive quality improvement, medication safety, and regulatory readiness.
• Oversee formulary, inventory planning, and drug supply management.
• Mentor and develop pharmacists, technicians, interns, and staff.
• Manage budgets, performance, and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to support hospital growth and expansion projects.
