Job summary

Midland-Marvel in Seattle seeks a Senior Manager of Inpatient Pharmacy Operations to lead all inpatient pharmacy services. The role drives strategic and operational excellence across Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department operations, with expansion into Critical Care.

The ideal candidate brings PharmD, WA licensure, and 5+ years inpatient hospital experience, plus 3+ years in leadership and 2+ years in budget management. Sign-on and relocation support are available.

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent required.
• Washington Pharmacist License or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• NPI required.
• Minimum five years inpatient pharmacy in acute care setting.
• Minimum three years of leadership with direct management responsibility.
• Minimum two years budget management experience with multis disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and strategic leadership for inpatient pharmacy services.
• Oversee Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department services; support future Critical Care expansion.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing and executive teams to improve patient care and performance.
• Develop and standardize clinical workflows and pharmacy best practices.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, accreditation and organizational standards.
• Drive quality improvement, medication safety programs and regulatory readiness.
• Oversee formulary management, inventory planning and drug supply.
• Mentor pharmacy leaders, pharmacists, technicians and staff.
• Manage budgets, performance metrics and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to support hospital growth and expansion projects.
